From Oslo comes the indie pop visionaries Das Body!

The band was immediately booked for Øyafestivalen, by:Larm and SXSW in their first year as a band in 2018. After this, they made their debut with the EP "Das body" and were signed to Fat Possum in the USA.

In 2020, they released their fantastic debut album, with producer Jorge Elbrecht behind the controls - the man who, among other things, has produced Ariel Pink and Sky Ferreira. The song "Against the Glass", which was quickly picked up by NRK P3, has elements from new rnb, but also from mysterious icons such as Prince. At the same time, they maintain their so-called "Nordic oddpop" style with Ellie Linden's eccentric presence at the centre.

In October this year, "No love will shine on me" came out, to brilliant feedback from the critics, followed by "You look so pretty when you're on your knees", which came out just a few days ago. As Gorilla vs bear wrote about his new favorite band after seeing them live at SXSW, it's almost impossible to capture their live energy on tape, but with good help from ring fox Erlend Mokkelbost (Montée, JR Ewing) they've definitely managed this masterpiece .
