Fiancial support for social events

Do you have a great idea for a good event? Then you can apply for financial support from us, and your idea affiliated with a student association.

Application forms can be submitted throughout the year.
All you need to do is fill in the form that you will find a link to below. Remember to read the guidelines first!

Guidelines

Groups of students who pay semester fees to SiS can apply for up to three events per semester.

All student organizations , except:
- The Swedish Welfare Council, StOr / BISO / Student councils / Parliaments, Folken, BI-kroa, Tappettårnet and other similar student places.
- Established regular events, such as Fadder, Jentemiddagen, Masterfesten, Husfesten and the like.

Student events whose purpose is to strengthen the social student environment.

Minimum 20 participating students. The exception is events for educational institutions / fields of study / cohorts with fewer than 20 students.

We would like to point out that you cannot apply for support for food and drink. You can apply for support for, for example:

Entertainment: fees for artists, DJs, stand-ups, quizmasters, speakers or the like.

Social activities: lift tickets for ski trips, bowling, paintball, curling, prizes or the like (does not apply to prizes that include alcohol ) of up to NOK 75,000. Max NOK 100 per student

The administration can request additional information beyond what appears in the guidelines, as well as carry out checks/random samples of accounts, the number of participants and more.

If there are 30 participants or fewer, SiS can request a list of names and student numbers for the participants.

Participating non-students must themselves pay a personal contribution at least equivalent to the support from SiS.

It must be stated that the event is supported by SiS on all marketing surfaces used.

Events with a financial surplus, or which are part of, or linked to, teaching, will not receive support.
