Requirements to apply

The arrangement only applies to the dental offices SiS currently has agreements with, within their opening hours. Here is a list of clinics we cooperate with.

Remember to inform the dentist about you being a student when you make an appointment. You have to bring your student ID when going for your appointment.

SiS does not cover expenses for cosmetic procedures.

If parts of or the whole expense is covered by Helfo, insurance, NAV, municipality or others, the support from SiS lapses. This also applies when extracting wisdom teeth or other surgical procedures.

For appointments before Feb 1. you have to bring your receipt for paid student fee for the fall semester. For appointments after Feb. 1. you have to bring your receipt for paid student fee for the spring semester.

The academic year goes from August 15. until July 1. To get financial support during the summer holidays, you will have to have paid the semester fee for spring, and be able to show confirmation of studies for the fall semester.

You don't have to apply for financial support, everything is sorted at the dentist. You pay 50 per cent of the bill, and that's all you have to think about.

If you turn 19 or 20 during the year, you can also use public dental clinics, and only have to pay 25% of the fee set by the Ministry of Health and Care Services. (Note that this has nothing to do with the offer provided by SiS - this is an offer from the public health services).
