Pause & Explore (Nature on Campus UiS Ullandhaug)
😴 From one lecture to the next, we often forget to take a break and notice the environment around us. Yet research shows that slowing down and spending time outdoors can help with recovery from mental fatigue, support perspective-taking, and foster creativity. Campus is full of nature — forest, botanical gardens, and small details we usually walk right past that shape how we feel.
🍃 Join a walk through campus green spaces. We'll follow a route together, pausing along the way to reflect on what we notice (a notebook and pen are available if you like). No experience or preparation needed — just come as you are. If you'd like to help our research, we'll also ask you to share a bit about your experience afterward. These walks are organized as part of a visiting PhD research project.
