📣💜Student looking for a summer job? More than average fond of socializing and the Stavanger region? Then maybe you're the one we're looking for to lead a group through the summer with a bunch of fun events?
This region needs more wise minds and warm hands, and that's why we at SiS, together with the municipalities of Stavanger, Sola and Sandnes, in addition to the Stavanger Region Chamber of Commerce, have started the program "Summerhub in Stavanger".
For this project, we need someone who can take responsibility for creating fun events for a group of around 50 newly graduated or student workers here for the summer. In short, you get things done. You like to get things done and you take responsibility, from start to finish. In addition, you get to experience all the wonderful things our region has to offer. Doesn't that sound like a great summer job? We think so!
What will you actually be working on?
🎈Plan and coordinate weekly events
💬 Invite and keep project participants informed about what's happening
📲 Responsible for the website and any social media
🙏🏽 Ensure that good conversations and experiences are facilitated
📣 Build awareness of and market the Summerhub project
👨👩👧👦 Coordinate and collaborate with project partners (municipalities, Chamber of Commerce, SiS)
👀 Ensure feedback from participants on events
Who are you, then?
👋🏽 You have experience in the service industry, event organization, and/or marketing
🎓 Relevant higher education is not a requirement, but can be an advantage
✍🏼 You write and speak well, in Norwegian and English
😄 You are not afraid to talk to strangers
🚀 You thrive in a fast-paced environment
⏰ You appreciate that each workday is different, and that not everything happens during core hours

The position is a 100% summer temporary position starting as soon as possible, no later than June 10, until mid to late August. You will be employed by SiS, a workplace where you get to work with people who are all committed to the best interests of students. SiS offers meeting places, cafés, housing, health services, and training to nearly 13,000 students in the region.
You will be part of a strong professional environment in a marketing and communications department with five permanent employees (including you). You will work closely with us and the rest of the partners in the Summerhub project.
