How to balance your study life?

Sometimes we bite off more than we can chew and worry about things that might go wrong, and that's completely normal. There's a lot we need to keep track of; eating regularly, preferably healthy, being active every day, getting enough sleep, being social, studying, working, and relaxing. All of this is well and good and can be preventive, but it can also feel overwhelming. Especially if the expectations for oneself are high in all areas. What can you do? Get some advice along the way:

At times, these thoughts can take over and create worries, poor self-image, and drain energy. It's not good to constantly go around ruminating over the same worries, the same things you don't have time for. This can make life feel overwhelming and not quite as we envisioned.

It may take some time to find a good balance in your new everyday life as a student. Most people try and fail a bit before a good routine is in place. Along the way, it can be useful to be a good friend to yourself. Also known as self-compassion.
