YATA Stavanger is a politically neutral organization with an interest in defense and security policy. The organization is open to all fields of study, and you don't need any prior knowledge to become a member.
Throughout the year, we organize both academic and social activities. The academic evenings typically consist of introductions, panel discussions, and lectures with individuals who have experience in relevant fields. The social events provide an opportunity to meet in an informal way, for example through quizzes, mingling, and other gatherings.
As a member, you get a unique opportunity to engage in a multidisciplinary environment and build a network with professionals who are well-established in security, defense, and international issues.
