Bjergsted Brass Festival 2026: Chamber Concert

Welcome to a chamber concert at St. Petri Church on Friday, September 18 at 7:30 p.m., held as part of the Bjergsted Brass Festival 2026.

The concert will feature a brass ensemble from the music program at Vågen Upper Secondary School, conducted by Grethe Tonheim, as well as Grenland Brass, Chris Robertson (euphonium), Ida Mo Schanche (piano), and the Nordic Trombone Quartet.

Bjergsted Brass Festival is an annual festival for brass musicians held in Bjergsted, Stavanger. The festival is a collaborative project involving Stavanger School of Arts, Young Talents Bjergsted, the brass ensemble of Stavanger Cathedral School, the brass ensemble of Vågen Upper Secondary School, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, the Rogaland branch of the Norwegian Band Federation, Bjergsted Trombone Guild, and the Faculty of Performing Arts at the University of Stavanger.
