Cultural Power Rogaland 2026

Kulturkraft Rogaland is intended to be more than a conference. The ambition is to establish an annual meeting place that strengthens dialogue between culture, society and politics, and that lays the foundation for new collaborations, initiatives and a shared direction for the region.
The conference combines professional presentations, conversations, debates and arenas for disagreement, and brings together voices from the cultural sector, the public sector, politics and business.

More programme items will be announced on an ongoing basis, but we can already confirm the participation of County Mayor Ole Ueland, Director of the Arts and Culture Directorate Øystein Strand, and Karin Ibenholt, who heads Samfunnsøkonomisk analyse.

Behind the conference stand some of the region’s most important cultural institutions. Together we invite the entire cultural field to a day of new perspectives, knowledge sharing and discussions about how culture contributes to the development of Rogaland.
