Ugandan rapper and MC Ecko Bazz is coming to Folken with a sound unlike anything else.

Drawing on Kampala’s underground scene and the Hakuna Kulala record label, he blends trap, nu-dancehall and Luganda poetry into a form of ritual energy, where political and religious unrest meets raw physical power on stage. Following his breakthrough album Mmaso, he has gained international acclaim for his visceral live shows, shifting between hushed intensity and hyperactive screams, often over beats by producers such as Debmaster, Slikback and PQ.

In 2025, he released the EP "Nsiga Ensigo", produced by his regular collaborator STILL (known from Hundebiss Records and the Dracula Lewis project, among others) together with Talpah—three tracks that push his sound even further toward the fringes, growing ever sharper and more unpredictable.
