Lars Vaular // Hvelvet Stage

Lars Vaular has been a crowd favorite since his breakthrough with “Rett opp og ned” and the album Helt om natten, helt om dagen in 2010. With curiosity, uncompromising lyrics and a rare ability to reinvent himself, he has since cemented his position as one of Norway’s most distinctive artists. He has received five Spellemann Awards and P3 Gull’s honorary award.

Throughout his career he has moved effortlessly between genres and generations, collaborating with a wide range of artists, from Kamelen to Röyksopp, Bjørn Eidsvåg, Astrid S and Ari Bajgora.

In the summer of 2026 he is releasing the album Episoder av evighet and the poetry project Først skrittet, så navellen, which he has been developing throughout the spring on the blog NMGKrønikene.no.

“Lars Vaular is doing what he does best again,” wrote Bergens Tidende about the singles “Mafiakoner” and “PTSD”. Aftenposten called Episoder av evighet “a new masterpiece” and rewarded the album with a six out of six rating.

In the autumn of 2026 he will embark on the “Menneske OG maskin” tour. Here he will combine readings from the poetry project with the musical expression Lars Vaular’s audience knows him for: intense presence, powerful lyrics and a repertoire spanning more than fifteen years of Norwegian classics.

When Lars Vaular took the audience on a journey through a hit-filled career in the summer of 2025, there was no doubt that he is still one of the country’s strongest live performers. With the “Menneske OG maskin” tour he will once again show why!
