Learn how to replace a broken zipper

Have you been reluctant to replace a zipper in trousers, a jacket or a dress? In this hands-on course, you’ll learn techniques for achieving professional results.

We walk you through how to replace a standard zipper (not waterproof, glued, or welded zippers). You’ll get step-by-step guidance on construction, the sewing sequence, and the small details that ensure the zipper looks neat on both the inside and outside.

This course is suitable for those with basic sewing skills and experience, but not for complete beginners.

Feel free to bring a garment with a zipper you'd like to repair, a suitable zipper, and matching sewing thread.
