Love Is Blind with Katherine Angel
Free Kapittel event.
In the TV series Love Is Blind, people fall in love after talking to each other without ever seeing one another. It is a utopia made real: Love can blossom without us judging each other’s appearance. The only thing that matters is being beautiful on the inside.
Dating apps have also changed the way we fall in love. We text each other until we are hooked. When we meet, we may realize that we have fallen in love with a fantasy.
Psychoanalyst and author Katherine Angel and journalist Elias Håvarstein will discuss blind attraction, dating, and gender roles in today’s society. Has finding love become easier, or is it more difficult than ever?
This event is free for everyone and is a collaboration between Kapittel and the University Library of Stavanger.
Language: English
Tip: Arrive at 10:30 a.m. to catch the student concert "We Are Women" at the library.
