The Pushwagner Group
“Norwegian Dada punk sounds like the next great thing,” critics wrote about Pushwagnergruppen when only their demos had been released. Two years later, the world’s only Dada punk band has released three albums and turned stages across the country upside down.
The band has also begun venturing beyond Norway’s borders. On their third album, EURODADA, they are joined by world-renowned Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal and Polish-Norwegian rock legend Andrej Nebb of DePress. On previous releases, they collaborated with Edvard Valberg of Honningbarna.
But Pushwagnergruppen is best known for its intense and chaotic live performances, featuring the ritual destruction of artworks, llamas as bouncers, and unpredictable collaborations with performance artists such as Amir Asgharnejad, Mattias Hellberg, and Arnfinn Killingtveit.
