Each year, students voluntarily contribute a small amount of money, known as tenners, to SAIH. This voluntary contribution is approved by student democracies, and in Stavanger students contribute 50 NOK.
Despite this, there is limited information available to students about what tenners are, how the money is used, how to contribute, or how to opt out and receive a refund.
To address this information gap, SAIH Stavanger has planned an event aimed at providing clear information about tenners and SAIH’s work, to explain students’ rights regarding the contribution, and offer an opportunity to thank students for their tenner contributions and continued solidarity.
The event will include a presentation and a Kahoot at the end. Tenner campaign merch as part of Kahoot prices.
