Parasjuk

Parasjuk is the student association for students enrolled in nursing, paramedicine, and master’s programs at the University of Stavanger. We work to ensure that our students thrive and have access to social opportunities within the student community. We organize both small and large events for our students. The organization is run on a daily basis by a board consisting of a leader, deputy leader, and board members with various key responsibilities. Every year, we hold a general assembly, which is open to all students in nursing and paramedicine, as well as all related education and master’s programs. Those enrolled in these programs are automatically members of Parasjuk and have voting and speaking rights at our general assembly. We have great hopes of making the study period an enjoyable experience, where students can meet each other in social settings outside of school hours. Activities will range from cabin trips to academic evenings—many things are possible as long as people are engaged!
