Bøker & Beats – student concert at the university library

Welcome to the first of this year’s four Bøker & Beats (Books & Beats) concerts. We’ve moved them to Tuesdays during the ‘golden hour’ so that more people can attend.

First up is the band No Name. They play original music rooted in improvisation and listening, focusing on diversity and musical freedom.

The band has an unconventional lineup: a trombonist, two saxophonists, and a pianist. Together, they will perform music with and without lyrics, inspired by Norway, Sweden, and Kurdistan.

Books & Beats
Books & Beats gives you a taste of life at Bjergsted with jazz, classical music, contemporary dance, and other performing arts. In addition to performing, the students will also share insights into their fields of study.
