Piano & Friends invites you to a journey through the history of music.
When this group takes the stage at the library, it will be classical piano in various variations and combinations. The piano will be accompanied by operatic singing, solo violin and harmonica.
The ensemble promises a music historical review of stylistic contrasts – from the opera of classicism, via the chamber music of the Romantic era, to the experimental and expanded focus of the 20th century.
It will be a historical journey with an emphasis on the role of the pianist here and now. The audience will see comic scenes from Mozart's operas, hear beautiful music written as a duet for violin and piano, and perhaps the musicians have a Spanish-inspired melody in store too.
It is free and open to everyone. No registration required.
