Celebrate the 17th of May with UiS!

Student in Stavanger on 17 May? This year UiS turns 20, and celebrates by inviting all students to birthday cake and food at Folken at 1 p.m. After the cake party, everyone is welcome to join UiS in Folketoget!

Put on your best clothes, wave flags with UiS in the parade and take part in the unique and traditional celebration! In Norway, 17 May is not just a date – it is the Constitution Day, celebrated from early morning to late in the evening.

Cakes are a mandatory part of the 17 May. This year UiS celebrates its 20 anniversary and invites all students to Folken, where a big birthday cake will be served in Akvariet at 1 pm.
