Electric Eye has since its inception in 2012 explored ever more atmospheric and limitless soundscapes. With four critically acclaimed albums behind them, including *Horizons* from 2020, they have established themselves as a unique name in both Norwegian and international music. The band consists of Øystein Braut (guitar/vocals), Njål Clementsen (bass), Anders Bjelland (synth) and Øyvind Hegg-Lunde (drums).

Dyp Tid is Electric Eye's fifth album. It was originally composed for Sildajazz 2022 - Haugesund International Jazz Festival - and had its premiere there in a wooden church from 1858. With a focus on church organ, synths and choir voices, the album moves through ambient minimalism, cosmic improvisations and psychedelic rock. The music explores existence in a universe where time stretches far beyond humanity's understanding.

The first taste from the album, *Mycelium*, is a 15-minute epic piece that intertwines live recordings from Skåre Kirke with studio jams from Duper Studio in Bergen. The song explores ideas about interconnectedness and nature, and includes contributions from, among others, mycologist Paul Stamets.

The album will be released on British Fuzz Club Records on November 15.
