UiS will treat students and staff with apples on Monday morning at campus Ullandhaug and in Bjergsted.

Green Week will be held for the first time in 2022 from October 3rd to October 7th. The theme for the week is "Sustainable food".

A green transition is one of the cornerstones of the university's ten-year plan, Strategy 2030. This means that all activity at the university must contribute to taking society in a greener direction.

On Monday 3rd of October, apples will be distributed from 08:00 and until it is empty. We will stand at the west and east entrance of Kjølv Egeland's house, the main entrance of Arne Rettedal's house and at the main entrance in Bjergsted.

The purpose of organizing Green Week with the theme of sustainable food is to increase knowledge about sustainable food and to get students and staff to become more green and sustainable when it comes to their own eating habits.

SiS-kafé takes part in Green Week with two meat-free days on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th of October and free vegetarian pizza spinners on Thursday 6th of October. On Friday 7th of October, the SiS café will serve leftovers to reduce food waste.
