Ex Libris' book club is back! This time we're going to talk about “Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries” by Heather Fawcett. The book club meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 14th, at 6:00 PM in the Kongsgård Lounge at the University Library. We're looking forward to another round of cozy book club gatherings 😊 And as always, there will be coffee/tea and twist!
“Emily Wilde is proficient in many areas: she is the preeminent expert on faerie studies; a brilliant scholar and a thorough researcher who is compiling the world's first encyclopaedia of faerie lore. However, Emily Wilde is not adept at social interactions.
When she arrives in the rugged village of Hrafnsvik, Emily has no plans to make friends with the surly locals. Nor is she interested in spending time with another newcomer: her charming and intolerably attractive academic adversary, Wendell Bambleby.
But as Emily delves deeper into the mysteries of the Hidden Ones - the most secretive of all faeries - she also stumbles upon another enigma: who is Wendell Bambleby, and what are his true intentions? To uncover the truth, she must solve the most profound mystery of all - her own heart.”
