Himmelskip is an Oslo-based band. Despite their short time together, the band has already released four live videos, been featured in Klassekampen, and played numerous concerts in 2024, including a sold-out show at Herr Nilsen during the Oslo Jazz Festival. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Geir Sundstøl, Trond Kallevåg, and Bon Iver, Himmelskip creates cinematic music with strong ties to folk and singer-songwriter traditions. Their debut album will be released in 2025.
