Join the library's course on how to get started with the reference management program Zotero.

This course is in English. In this course you learn the basic and necessary functions of Zotero, so that after the course you can use the program in the right way. You will learn to import and save different types of references, as well as check that references in the bibliography are correct. You will learn how to use Zotero in conjunction with Word, and how to choose the right reference style.

Requirements for prior knowledge: Basic knowledge of searching for literature and references
Teaching method: Lecture and assignments with guidance

After the course you should be able to:
Enter references manually in Zotero
Import references to Zotero from Oria, databases, websites etc.
Check that the information in Zotero is entered correctly, and why this is important
Insert references in the correct style in your document, with and without page numbers
Create a correctly arranged bibliography
Switch between different reference styles and languages
Know useful functions in Zotero such as organizing references in folders, saving PDFs, searching the library, etc.
