Join as a crew member or volunteer at The Tall Ships Races!

From July 22nd to 25th, Stavanger will once again host The Tall Ships Races - one of the world's largest tall ship regattas. We invite you to an information meeting for trainees and volunteers. The meeting is for those who have already applied to participate, and for those who are curious and want to learn more about The Tall Ships Races.
Here you will hear from young people who have been out sailing, from the project management, and from the volunteer coordinator. There will also be ample opportunity to ask questions.

Become a volunteer
Sign up as a volunteer and join a team of 300 committed and skilled people from the entire region. As a volunteer, you play a central role in the execution of The Tall Ships Races; and we want Stavanger to be the best host port for the ships, and to give the crews, youth, and visitors an unforgettable experience! You will have the opportunity to tackle both small and large tasks. In addition, you become part of a large community, where you can build relationships, networks, and expertise.

Become a trainee
Do you want to join an unforgettable journey in the summer of 2026? We are looking for 250 young people who want to sail the ships when they arrive at or depart from Stavanger. If you are between 15 and 25 years old, living in or from Rogaland, you can apply to join! As a trainee, you will experience an exciting voyage at sea, and you will get to know youth from several countries. You will learn from professional crews, and you don't need previous experience to participate.
