Acquire the skill of dancing Lindy Hop

Jump into our beginner-friendly Lindy Hop swing dance class, Wednesdays 19:00–20:00. No need to bring a partner – we rotate partners throughout the class.

Level

Perfect for total beginners with no dance experience, and for anyone who wants to keep building a solid Lindy Hop foundation.

What you’ll learn

- How to find the swing bounce and groove
- Core 8-count and 6-count moves
- How to lead or how to follow (you choose your role)
- How swing music is structured and how to dance to it

Price

The 7-week course costs 400 kr for students. All dancers also pay a yearly 100 kr membership fee to Norges Idrettsforbund (NIF). We’ll handle the membership setup for you.

Payment

Sign up on our website before class (choose “beginner class 1”), then just show up for the first session. If you decide to continue, we’ll send you an invoice.

Location

Find us on Google Maps: KRA (Kunst Rom Arbeid) https://goo.gl/maps/hQawyVfiVhpxQtRdA. The address is Verven 24, 4014 Stavanger. Walk down the alley between the houses to the right of Gypsy Joker MC and you’ll see the entrance. Go through the door and up to the third floor; look for the sign that says KRA. The door will be open, and you’ll probably hear jazz.
