Lucent is an Oslo-based band that plays music inspired by genres such as R&B, neo-soul, and hip-hop, and by artists like D'Angelo, Hiatus Kaiyote, Erykah Badu, and Robert Glasper.

The band started in the fall of 2022 and has since played several concerts in the Oslo area, making this their debut performance on new ground.

The music is built on a groovy foundation and intricate lyrics about love, loneliness, and self-perception, with catchy melodic lines that melt elegantly into the music.
