Museum Tour – Utstein Monastery & Fjøløy Fortress

Join a truly unique edition of Tour de Museums! ✨ This time, we’re heading a bit outside the city to explore both Utstein Kloster – Norway’s only preserved medieval monastery – and Fjøløy Fort, located out by the open sea.

A student employee from SiS will join us for the entire day, so you don’t have to show up alone. This is the perfect trip if you’d like to mark International Women’s Day in a meaningful way, learn something new, take a break from your studies, or get to know other students in calm and historic surroundings 🤝

Schedule for the day:

11:30 – Departure from SiS House
12:10 – Arrival at Utstein Kloster & guided tour
13:15 – End of the guided tour; free time to explore the monastery
14:00 – Coffee and a light bite in beautiful surroundings at Utstein Kloster
14:15 – Departure for Fjøløy Fort
14:25 – Arrival at Fjøløy Fort & guided tour
15:30 – Departure
16:15 – Arrival at SiS House
