Norwegian Petroleum Museum – free admission for students!

Hello student! Welcome to Stavanger, the oil and energy capital of Norway. The Norwegian Petroleum Museum is the most visited museum in the region, and here you can learn more about your (new) hometown. Our exhibitions range from how oil and gas were formed and the development of the industry, to the climate and environmental challenges we face together.

Movies, digital games, models, and experiences like the disaster room and the rescue chute make the visit varied and exciting. The museum is located in downtown Stavanger, just beyond Fargegata.
