Double concert with Of All Things and Eie
Of All Things
Known for their fearless and uncompromising approach to the genre, Of All Things have made a name for themselves with powerful and melodic alternative rock. The band, which is known for its energetic live performances, has since the start of 2020 established itself as a promising name on the Norwegian rock scene.
Taking inspiration from bands such as Foals, Kent and The Amazons, the quartet mixes guitar-based alt-rock with soulful vocals and a solid rhythm section. After rave reviews for their debut EP and their latest singles, they are now ready to release their debut album Falling In Line With The Person In Front Of You. Started in 2022, the album is characterized by a band in change, conflict and harmony. Written over a longer period and with several changes, the album offers a varied expression. From in-your-face rock songs like I Want To Be Mean and Ink Stains to the alt-rock ballad You've Got To Know, the band shows its musical breadth.
Although the album carries an air of finesse and refined control, the band's live performances are a completely different experience. Loud, energetic and chaotic - Of All Things is best in a dark and sweaty club where Dr. Your Martens stick to the floor when you dance. Perfect for the Caves, in other words.

Noisy instrumentation combined with autoharp meets mud poetry and noise vocals. Eie wants to push the boundaries of what music can look and sound like and calls the term gothic grunge. Songwriter Emilie Eie allows the music to become an extension of the themes in the lyrics, such as destructive relationships and uncritical idealization of authorities. The songs are meant to kick hard and challenge the listener's mindset.
Since the start and the debut EP in March 2023, the band has released several singles and is working towards the album release in spring 2025. In the last year, Eie has played at Mablisfestivalen, Tysnesfest and at the industry festival Vill Vill Vest in Bergen, where the latter concert gave them a six-star review in GAFFA .
"The artist masters a wide range of emotions that are expressed in different ways on different songs, through her strong communication skills and impeccable musical flair." - GAFFA "Recommendation of the month Nordic"
"Emilie Eie refuses to be for decoration and pleasure. Here there is acid and noise and sharp edges so it will do." - Leif Tore Lindø, Aftenbladet
