The Peder Rugelsjøen Quintet is a newly formed band led by guitarist and composer Peder Rugelsjøen.
With one foot firmly planted in the jazz tradition, he works to create music that both captivates and challenges the listener. Singable melodies are combined with complex harmony to support this vision. Together with playful, exploratory interplay, he can promise an exciting concert experience. The music is inspired by artists such as Lage Lund, Mark Turner, and Johnathan Blake.
