Welcome to a flirting show where students pitch their single friends in front of an audience.
Throughout December, students shared their deepest desires by hanging little notes on the Christmas tree in the middle of the library. The wishes were clear, with most dreaming of good grades and a partner.
The university library already assists students through their studies, and now, for the very first time, they will also help in the search for love.
The show will take place at the student bar Tappetårnet.

Pitch-a-Friend is a global concept and a low-threshold flirting show where students pitch their single friends to an audience. Each person gets 3–5 minutes to show pictures and explain why their friend is a catch.
Do you have a single friend who deserves to meet someone? Or are you just curious about a different and fun event?
Then you must join when Pitch-a-Friend is organized for the first time in Stavanger.
It's about lifting each other up in a positive way. It's a low-threshold, friendly, and inclusive event, and perhaps you'll get to know other students across disciplines and environments.
How it works:
- If you want to pitch a single friend, fill out our form: https://nettskjema.no/a/531024#/page/1
- You will be contacted by a staff member at the university library who will assist you further.
- Create a short and creative presentation
- Tell what makes your friend so great, and what they are looking for in a partner
- The audience gets to listen, mingle, and maybe meet someone new
The event is free and open to all students in Stavanger.
No registration necessary for the audience, just show up!
