Ravi celebrates his 50th birthday with a grand concert at Folken!
Ivar Christian Johansen, better known as Ravi, turns 50 on April 28. Four days later, on May 2, he invites you to an unforgettable birthday concert at Folken in Stavanger. This will be a night of musical celebration where one of Norway’s most beloved artists marks his life and career together with the audience.

Since the early 2000s, Ravi has been a key figure in Norwegian pop and rap, together with Jaga Jazzist, Folk & Røvere and DJ Løv, among others. He is known for hits like “Utadæsjælåplevelse”, “Dødsøt”, “E-ore”, “Tsjeriåu” and “Ås to i Osjlo”, songs that have resonated ever since they were released about 20 years ago.
With his distinctive style and use of the “Ravi-ish” language, he has left a strong mark on Norwegian music history – and the journey is far from over.
After an epic comeback in 2023, with sold-out shows at SALT in Oslo and HAVET in Trondheim, Ravi has continued to delight audiences all over the country. In 2024 he sold out, among others, concerts at Samfundet in Trondheim and Kvarteret in Bergen. In 2025, Ravi has kept touring across Norway with his “Utadæsjælturné”, including a sold-out show at Rockefeller in Oslo on April 30, 2025.
The concert at Folken on May 2, 2026 will be one of the highlights of the celebrations for Ravi’s 50th birthday. This is a unique chance to experience one of Norway’s most iconic artists live on one of the country’s most renowned music stages.

EDEL is a soul duo from Stavanger, consisting of Vera Ottesen and Malin Stokka. The duo is known for powerful vocal harmonies and intense interplay. Over the last two years, EDEL has played concerts all over Norway and established themselves as one of the country’s most promising up-and-coming live bands. Universitas wrote about them live:

In 2025, EDEL went on their first tour, both as an acoustic duo and with a full band. They released their debut album “SAMBUCUS”, signed with TimeOut Agency and dropped the single “Nakenbading” together with Daniel Obede, which has been successful on TikTok.
Dagsavisen predicted EDEL as one of the artists who will shape Norwegian music in 2025, and the duo continues to grow with new releases and live performances.
