With an album in the mix and fresh press photos under their arm, Soft City is on its way to the concert stages again! Since their debut with "Settle for the Moon" (2022, Kirkelig Kulturverksted) the band has played all over the country, toured the cradle of the blues Mississippi and Tennessee - and visited festivals in Germany, Poland and Portugal, to name a few. With music inspired by classic soul and RnB, with clear nods to both funk and blues, Soft City has captured the dancing feet and hearts of an ever-growing audience. The previous album received great attention from Dagens Næringsliv, Nettavisen and NRK - and interest in their new music has already begun to buzz in concert halls and media houses.

The band members are active in other projects, such as the psych rock band Kanaan or the fast-growing Klossmajor - in addition to a number of jazz ensembles and indie bands. Their broad genre background can be heard in their own repertoire, which has made it natural for them to play both at jazz clubs, blues clubs - and city parties. Maybe you've seen them at Moldejazz, Klubbøya or Notodden Bluesfestival?

The album is expected to be released in 2025, and the gang is more than ready to show the people what they've cooked up! Because even though albums are great, it's the live format that the band has grown into - and it's at a concert that you really get to see (and hear) a firework of a band!
