Welcome to a new academic year

Finally, the University of Stavanger is filled with students again! True to tradition, the rector, Stavanger's mayor and representatives of the student community in Stavanger line up to give this year's students a warm welcome.

This year we can also celebrate that UiS is 20 years old! There will be music, speeches, entertainment - and surprises!

The ceremony ends with a mini-concert with Stavanger's committed grunge stars Eie.
