LevelUp invites you to participate in this fall's most exciting program for innovative students – Startup Booster! 🥳

What is Startup Booster?
Startup Booster is a dynamic course designed to accelerate your business idea. Over seven weeks, you will work with experts to explore the key aspects of starting a business. We meet once a week from 16:30 to 19:30. You will get inspiration from experts and then the opportunity to work on your idea during this time.

Who can participate?
The program is open to all students, regardless of their field of study, and is conducted in English. The only requirement is that you are a student and curious about the startup process! We cover various elements and phases of starting and developing a product or service.

Credits
Master’s students at UiS can earn 10 ECTS credits by completing the Startup Booster program through the elective course MSB415 Sustainable Entrepreneurship. This elective is open to all master's students. If you are a student at HHUiS, you must register via StudentWeb (https://fsweb.no/studentweb/login.jsf?inst=FSUIS). For all other master's students, you can register via Digital student service desk (https://uis.service-now.com/stud?id=stud_index) where you must fill in the form "Application for additional subjects, not part of education plan".

Even if you are not a master’s student, you are still welcome to participate, but you will not receive ECTS credits.

Free Participation: The program is completely free and includes meals at each session.
Digital Platform: Access to videos and podcasts for increased learning value, perfect to combine with the 7 workshops.
Expert Guidance: Learn from industry experts and gain hands-on experience.
Networking: Build networks with other students and entrepreneurs.

Program Overview
Start Date: Tuesday, September 10
Duration: 7 weeks, one session every Tuesday from 16:30 to 19:30
Demo Day: Final day, Thursday, October 24, where you will pitch your idea.

📆 Week 37 (10.09): Kick-off Startup Booster
📆 Week 38 (17.09): Entrepreneurial journey and opportunity identification
📆 Week 39 (24.09): Business model and value proposition
📆 Week 40 (01.10): Prototyping, testing, and business model
📆 Week 41 (08.10): Cost structure
📆 Week 42 (15.10): How to create an effective pitch
📆 Week 43 (24.10): Demo day

Master's students who wish to obtain 10 ECTS must submit a written business plan via Inspera by 15 November for the subject MSB415.
