BLACK SEA
From the deepest southwest: This quintet delivers fresh doom deeply rooted in heavy rock, while tearing up sludge riffs from the sediment and leaving the fjord lifeless. With their two releases so far (Neptune EP and Funeral Fields EP), the band has held services on several stages along the west and east coast, and is ready to bring their atmospheric and heavy expression further out to more corners of the country.
FORGOTTEN KING
Descending from Norway armed with the twin hammers of riff and groove, Forgotten King are the heralds of a heady, heavy trip into the cosmos. What began as the solo project of Kal-El guitarist Azul Josh morphed into a now full-fledged band, and the four-piece are poised to lay waste to the heavy underground with their brand of euphoric, crushingly weighted psychedelia, stoner, and doom.
The debut full-length album, The Seeker, was released on September 6, 2024, via Majestic Mountain Records and has received great feedback from the underground scene. It was 22nd on the Doom Charts September 2024 and have been featured in several underground fanzines and websites.
