Get to know Ullandhaug better!

At Ullandhaug there are a number of environments that work with knowledge and innovation. And on Sunday 22 September they would like to show you something of everything they are up to!

Take your friends and family on a rich Sunday tour and take part in activities from the Ullandhaug tower to the Arkivenes hus, with stops at, among others, the Jernaldergården, the Ullandhaug ecological farm, the Stavanger botanical garden and the children's garden, the University of Stavanger, the drilling rig Ullrigg and HelseCampus Stavanger.

You choose where you want to start and how many records you want to visit. Along the way, you can take part in everything from puzzle trails and quizzes to potato harvesting and sword fighting! You can greet animals, experience dancing and visit small and full-scale laboratories - and a Viking camp!

In several places it is possible to take a breather on the ground and enjoy a cup of coffee and something good. At Jernaldergården there will be a farmer's market with local products and Ullandhaug organic farm will serve up home-produced juice and more. The university turns 20 this autumn, and invites you to a birthday cake!

Health is the theme of this year's Research Days, and many of the actors are planning activities related to this.

At HelseCampus you can see how we educate the health workers of the future, and at Ydalir hotel you can strengthen yourself with a healthy smoothie. Being active in green surroundings is good for both our physical and mental health, as is contact with animals. While learning something new and trying new activities contributes to good brain health.

So there are many good reasons to make the Sunday trip to Ullandhaug!

The research trail is part of the Research Days in the Stavanger region.
