The word Ultra means 'beyond', and at the ULLTRA future festival, we must talk about space.

The race to the moon is on. Not just to plant flags, but to extract minerals. Jannicke Mikkelsen is among the few who have seen, and filmed, the Earth from pole to pole, and super-engaged students from UiS Aerospace have launched a rocket from Utsira.

• The new moon race - what's happening in near-Earth space over the next ten years? - Brage Johansen, entrepreneur and investor who has worked in space travel for 20 years.

• Life in the Universe - Dr. Pete Worden, former director of NASA. He currently leads 'the Breakthrough Initiatives', a privately funded space science program searching for life in space.

• Innovation opportunities in space technology - Ole Dokka. Founder of Spaceport Norway

• Back from the future - Jannicke Mikkelsen is a photographer, astronaut, and commander of Fram2, which recently completed 51 successful orbits around the Earth from pole to pole. ULLTRA will see the images and hear her stories from the outside.

• Phoenix 1 – What happened when UiS Aerospace launched a rocket from Utsira! Daniel Cau Varming has loads of ULLTRA-spirit, and will show us the film and lecture about UiS's journey to space.

• NORSTEC gathers space students - Freider Engstrøm Fløan's vision as head of the organization NORSTEC is 'Securing our future in space'.

After lectures and discussions in the circus tent, ULLTRA opens our Space-PUB in the Tappetårnet at the SIS building.

Here, discussions and conversations about the future and space continue.

The circus tent is ULLTRA-free, and you don't need a ticket either.

Come, come.
