Vilde Tuv on tour with "Truthbomb" fall 2025
In the expansive universe of avant-garde pop music, Vilde Tuv stands as an
uncompromising force. With her new album "Truthbomb", she takes a step out
with her biggest production ever. Formerly known as a
one-woman orchestra and solo flutist, Tuv now has two musicians with her on
accordion and violin! This fall, they fill stages in Norway, Sweden, and
Denmark with their unique blend of experimental folk, hard trance, and
stoner-pop. Vilde Tuv has long been a cult favorite, known for her beautifully
unfiltered live performances where flutes, vocals, synth, and drums merge
together in a physical and energetic expression. Following the critically acclaimed
debut album D'meg and the Spellemann Award-winning Melting Songs, she has
continued to explore new sonic territories.
About Truthbomb
The album, which is out September 19th, draws up a nostalgic
love song to a stone, a haunted flute, an euphoric hum-choir.
The lyrics are themed around how truth feels in the body, as we
move through space and time. Question: How much do we really control over our own bodies, how much is programmed in us from the start? When the truth awakens in your stomach, but you're so used to following the recipe that following your heart almost feels like a death sentence. The music
on this record comforts and presses at the same time. Sometimes what you
need to be brave is acceptance, comfort, presence, forgiveness.
This is alt-pop, eurodance, the wind blowing through the trees,
medieval melodies, an uncompromising chime.
