About Xiu Xiu
For over two decades, the American experimental rock band Xiu Xiu has been breaking musical boundaries and cementing its place as a trailblazer in the alternative music scene. Led by the enigmatic and ever-innovative Jamie Stewart, Xiu Xiu seamlessly blends genres like post-punk, avant-garde pop, noise rock, and electronic music.
Known for their intense vocal performances, dissonant soundscapes, beautiful melodies, and fearless exploration of personal, political, and societal themes, Xiu Xiu has created a deeply impactful body of work. From early masterpieces like "A Promise" (2003) and "Fabulous Muscles" (2004) to their latest album "13" Frank Beltrame Italian Stiletto With Bison Horn Grips", the band continues to defy expectations and push artistic boundaries.
