Dental support

The deal only applies to the dental offices SiS has an agreement with at all times, during their opening hours. The list can be found at the bottom of the page.

Remember that you must state that you are a student when you order. You must bring your student ID when you go for treatment.

SiS does not cover costs for cosmetic treatment.

If all or part of the treatment cost is covered by Helfo, insurance, NAV, the municipality or others, the support from SiS ceases. This applies, for example, to the removal of wisdom teeth and other surgical interventions.

For processing until 1 February, you must bring a receipt for paid semester fees for the autumn semester. For treatment after 1 February, you must bring a receipt for paid semester fees for the spring semester.

The academic year runs from 15 August to 1 July. In order to receive support for treatment during the summer holidays, you must have paid the semester fee for spring and be able to show confirmation of your right to study for the autumn semester.

You do not need to submit an application for support, everything is done by the dentist. You pay 50 percent of the bill, and you don't have to think about more!

If you are in the age between 21 and 24 in the year of treatment, you can also use public dental clinics, and only pay 25% of the rate set by the Ministry of Health and Care. (Note that this has nothing to do with SiS's offer - this is an arrangement from the public health system).
